Fairs in England continue to go ahead

The historic fairs in March and Peterborough opened last night. Peterborough Mart opened with a cheap night with all rides £1 – business was slow but there were a good number of teenagers out later on. Meanwhile in Dublin, Ireland for St Patrick’s day have been cancelled along with parades while St Patrick’s Day events in England still planned to go ahead this weekend. Meanwhile in Scotland the famous Kirkcaldy Links Market is still planned to go ahead next month but there are doubts after Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon stated events of over 500 people should be cancelled.
